The Norwegian company Brynje has produced thermally active underwear for over 50 years. The Meraklon fibres do not absorb moisture. Humidity is transferred to the next clothing layer, preventing the body heat to escape through evaporation. The surface of the skin and underwear stay dry. These fibers have been tested in arctic conditions, by military special units, expeditions and professional athletes and have proved that Brynje Underwear, worn on the skin, develops its optimum efficiency, with the layering principle, under breathable outerwear.
